Biography

2006: Appeared in 54 games, making 53 starts... tallied a team-leading 146 assists... added 13 RBI and a team-leading seven sacrifice bunts... laid down a perfect suicide squeeze in the eighth inning of the rubber game of the series at Le Moyne to tie the score in a 4-2 Manhattan win... recorded 10 multi-hit games... tallied a season-high seven assists on two occassions... went 3-5 with two runs scored vs. Long Island... went 1-4 with a run scored in NCAA Regional win over San Francisco... played his summer baseball for the Davidson Copperheads of the SCBL.

2005: Did Not Play.

2004: Appeared and started in 52 games at Florida Gulf Coast University... drove in 21 runs for 39-17 team... team was ranked as high as 15th in NCAA Division II poll.

2003: Appeared in 49 games, making 45 starts... batted .324 with 24 RBI... scored 48 runs posted a .437 on base percentage.

HIGH SCHOOL: High School team was ranked #1 in the nation his junior and senior seasons... named Second Team All-County as a senior... named team MVP his senior year after leading the team with a .438 batting average... received the Gold Glove Award.

PERSONAL: Major is business management... parents are Rene, Sr. and Odalys... one sister, Michelle... fellow Jasper Mike Garcia is his first cousin.
