Biography

2007: Named Preseason All-MAAC... one of two returnees to appeared in all 54 games, making 53 starts... stole 20 of 25 bases... drove in 17 runners... tallied nine multi-hit games... scored 31 runs... belted two home runs.. went 3-5 with two RBI at Wofford... went 3-3 with two runs scored at Siena... connected on two-run single to tie the score and scored the game-winner in ninth inning of Manhattan’s come-from-behind win over Marist at the MAAC Championships... played his summer baseball for the Manchester Silkworms of the NECBL.

2006: Named Preseason All-MAAC... named MAAC All-Tournament, the MAAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player, and to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament team... one of three players to appear in and start all 57 games... broke the single season school record for steals (39) and attempts (43)... ranked ninth in the nation in stolen bases per game (0.68)... tallied 23 RBI and was second on the team with 50 runs... tallied a 14 game-hit streak... hit two home runs, the game-winning home run vs. Le Moyne at MAAC Championships, and a home run that put the Jaspers ahead in the NCAA Regional Final vs. Miami.

2005: Named First Team All-MAAC... appeared in 43 games, starting 41... second on the team with a .343 batting average... drove in 25 runs and stole 12 bases... tallied 11 multi-hit games, and posted an eight game hit streak as part of a stretch of 13 out of 14... only caught stealing once... played his summer baseball with the Vermont Mountaineers of the NECBL.

HIGH SCHOOL: Named to the All-Dade County Third Team as a senior, after batting .423 with five home runs and 31 RBI... captained the team as a senior and won the team’s Marist Award, which is awarded for leadership and team spirit... helped the team win the State Championship as a junior.

PERSONAL: Major is accounting... parents are Antonio and Elizabeth... one sibling, Kevin, a sophomore on the Manhattan baseball team.
