Biography

2014 Outdoors: Secured first place in the 100 meter hurdles (14.30), long jump (18’10) and triple jump (39’4½) at the Sam Howell Invitational on April 4…Recorded a pair of first-place finishes at the Army Six-Way Meet on April 12, notching victories in the 100 hurdles (14.12) and long jump (18’9¾)…Won the Eastern section of the women’s triple jump at the Penn Relays (April 24) with a leap of 40’0¾ , becoming Manhattan’s first female Penn Relays champion since 2009…Also took 10th in the Eastern women’s long jump (18’4½) at the Penn Relays…Registered three second-place finishes in the 100 hurdles (14.51), long jump (19’4¼) and triple jump (39’10½) at the MAAC Outdoor Championships on May 3…Placed eighth in the long jump (18’9¾) while also contesting the triple jump and 100 hurdles at the ECAC Outdoor Championships on May 16.

2013-14 Indoors: Made her Manhattan debut at the Army Four-Way Meet on Jan. 11, capturing first place in the triple jump (38’6¾) and second in the 60 meter hurdles (8.97)…Named MAAC Performer of the Week on Jan. 21 after taking first in the long jump (19’1¼) and second in the triple jump (37’9¼) at the NYU Saturday Night Shootout (Jan. 18)…Medaled in three events at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships on Jan. 30, finishing first in the triple jump (38’8¼), second in the long jump (18’7¼) and third in the 60 hurdles (8.94)…Selected as Most Outstanding Performer for Field Events at the MAAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 21) after winning the gold medal in the triple jump (40’7½) and the silver in both the long jump (19’2½) and 60 hurdles (8.76)…Placed sixth in the long jump (18’5¾) and 12th in the triple jump (38’8¾) at the ECAC Indoor Championships on March 8.

Before Manhattan: A 16-time state champion in the 100 meters, long jump and triple jump…Won two South German championships in the 100 meter hurdles…Took fifth in the 60 meter hurdles at the 2008 German National Championships.

Personal: Daughter of Juergen and Anite…Sister, Isabella, who runs for SMU, represented Germany at the 2013 World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine, and 2014 World Junior Championships in Eugene, Oregon…Enrolled in Manhattan’s organizational leadership graduate program…Born on November 10, 1989.
