BEFORE MANHATTAN: Lettered locally at All Hallows High School playing for head coach Ed Gutierrez... member of the 2011 All Hallows team that won the Manhattan-Bronx Division and advanced to the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) "AA" Championship game, finishing with a 17-9 overall record.

PERSONAL: Majoring in computer science... the son of Yony and Ana Fernandez... has a brother, Adrian, and a sister, Alana... enjoys fishing in spare time... member of the National Honor Society... aspires to be a computer programmer.
