2006: Named MAAC Preseason Player of the Year, Preseason All-MAAC, NCBWA Preseason Third-Team All-American, Collegiate Baseball/Louisville Slugger Preseason Second Team All-American, Northeast Baseball Review All-Northeast Corridor Preseason Second Team, to the Wallace Watch list, and as one of the Top 50 Sophomores by Baseball America... named First Team All-MAAC and to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament team... one of three players to appear and start in all 57 games... led the team with a .340 batting average, 57 runs, 477 putouts, a .469 slugging percentage, and a school record 52 walks... ranked seventh in the nation in walks per game (0.91)... tallied 19 multi-hit, 14 mulit-RBI, and 13 multi-walk games... went 6-7 with five runs scored at Canisius... went 2-3 with a homer and two RBI in NCAA Regional win over #6 Nebraska... played his summer baseball for the Chatham A’s of the Cape Cod League... led the Cape League in walks (39), was third in RBI (27), was named the Cape League Coca-Cola Player of the Week for the League opening week, and was selected to participate in the Cape League Home Run Derby... selected at #18 on the Cape Cod League Top 100 Prospects list by Perfect Game Crosschecker... was named to the MAAC 25th Anniversary Top 25 Performers List.
2005: Named MAAC Player of the Year, MAAC Rookie of the Year, First Team All-MAAC, Louisville Slugger Third Team All-American, Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, NCBWA District II Player of the Year, ECAC All-Star, and ABCA Rawlings All-Northeast Region First Team... one of three players to appear and start all 48 games... broke four Manhattan single-season records with a .416 batting average, 72 hits, 57 RBI, and 21 doubles... posted a .694 slugging%, a .530 on-base%, and a .995 fielding%... tallied two hit streaks of 11 games or more, 23 multi-hit games, 15 multi-run games, and 14 multi-RBI gamse... among the national leaders in doubles/game (seventh), average (12th), walks/game (20th), RBI/game (22nd), slugging% (26th), and runs/game (55th)... played his summer baseball for the Vermont Mountaineers of the NECBL, was named to the All-Star team, and won the NECBL Sportsmanship Award.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named a Louisville Slugger High School All-American, the Newsday Queens Player of the Year, the Times Ledger CHSAA Player of the Year, and to the Sports Writers Association of New York and All-CHSAA First Team, as well as earning Newsday All-Boro First Baseman honors after batting .512 with 52 RBI and 16 homers during his senior season.... also went 6-2 with a 3.06 ERA and 76 strikeouts in 52 innings on the mound... broke the Molloy record for homers in a season that had stood for 33 years... named Daily News All-City First Baseman, Newsday All-Queens First Baseman, Times Ledger All-CHSAA First Baseman, and to the CHSAA First Team his junior season in leading Molloy to a second place finish at the CHSAA City Championships... team won the CHSAA City Championship his sophomore year... drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 46th Round of the 2004 MLB Draft.
