Biography

2011: Another incrediable season for leading scorer Chrissy Gutenberger, with an impressive 33 goals and team high 39 points...finished the season ranked second all-time in goals (128) and third all-time in points (156)...started 8 of 11 games played she picked up 9 ground balls with 12 draw controls...54 of her 68 shots were on goal...reached the 100-goal plataeu with a 5 goal effort against Central Connecticut (3/10)...scored in all but one game she played, had multi-goal efforts in nine of 11 games played...netted six goals in 19-8 win over Long Island (3/23)...scored four goals in back-to-back games against Siena (4/8) and Bucknell (4/12).

2010: One of the most prolific scorers in program history, she will enter her third season needing just five goals to join the illustrious 100-goal plateau... started 12 of the 14 games she appeared in during the 2010 campaign... Named an All-MAAC Second Team member after registering a team-high 41 goals to go along with eight assists, 24 draw controls and 15 ground balls... finished the season with 87 shots, including 73 on goal to lead the Lady Jaspers attack... averaged 3.50 points per game and 2.93 goals per contest... compiled nine multi-goal games out of 14 played... recorded five goal efforts vs. Sacred Heart (2/21), LIU (4/13) and Niagara (4/20)... scored four goals in four different contests: Wagner (3/6), UC-Davis (3/8), Siena (4/9) and Fairfield (4/18)... notched a season-high eight points (5G, 3A) while collecting 10 shots vs. LIU (4/13)...

Came on the scene and instantly became on of the top players in the region... was named the MAAC Rookie of the Year and was named to the All-MAAC First Team... was named MAAC Rookie of the Week three times during the season... led the MAAC with 4.33 points per game and was second in the conference in goals per game with 3.40 per contest... had?team-leading 54 goals and team leading 14 assists for 68 points... scored 3 game-winning goals on the season... was third on the team in draw controls with 25... was second on the team in caused turnovers with 23... picked up 29 ground balls... took a team leading 122 shots... had 14 multi-goal games out of the 16 games she played... had season high 6 goals vs. Niagara (4/3)... had 5 goal games vs. UC-Davis (3/24) and vs. Saint Francis of PA on 4/19.?had 3 goals in the MAAC semi-final contest vs. Fairfield (4/24).
