Staten Island,NY- The Manhattan Men's and Women's Track & Field Team made an impressive showing in the Bill Ward Invitational at the One Breeze Track & Field Facility.

* Junior Andria Scaglione (Oceanside, NY) placed third in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10.11.27.

*Graduate Student Alexandra Preckajlo (Ocean, NJ) took home two first place wins in the shot put and weigh throw. Reaching a new personal record in each with a shot of 14.11 and a weight of 17.77. 

*Senior Nina Bjorkman (Vasteras, Sweden) followed suit, coming in fourth in the shot put, with a 12.73 score. 

*Senior, David Lozipone (Massapequa Park, NY.) came in second in the 3000 meter run with a time of 8.43.32. Coming in right after was graduate student Pelle Nogueria (Glen Ridge, NJ) finishing  third with a time 8.47.23.

*Freshman Darion Lopez (Pensacola, FL) finished in an impressive third place in the 300 meter dash with a time of 35.57.

*Senior Lilly Brown (Ringwood, NJ) finished tied for first in the pole vault, with a mark of 3.35m.

*Sophomore Robert Decker (Otisville, NY) took first in the weight with a throw of 17.95m.

*Freshman Pete Athanailos (Floral Park, FL took 4th in shot with a mark of 13.35m.
