Box Score (PDF)

Jersey City, NJ -
After battling back to tie the match in the 83rd minute, Manhattan dropped a tough 2-1 overtime decision to Saint Peter's in MAAC action at Jaroschak Field.

The Peacocks improve to 11-5 and 8-1 in the league while clinching the 2019 MAAC Regular Season Championship, while the Jaspers fall to 5-9 and 4-4 in the circuit.

Down a goal, Manhattan scored its lone goal in the 83rd minute when Berti Fourrier (Marseille, France / La Grande Bastide (IFC Marseille)) notched his team-leading fifth goal of the year, off a feed from Noah Amissah (London, England / Orleans Park).

Unfortunately, Saint Peter's would respond in the 95th minute when Frederik Lindqvist found the back of the net.

Jordan Jowers open the scoring in the 50th minute for Peacocks, as Herman Wulff made seven saves in earning the victory.

In the opening stanza, the teams played to a virtual standstill. The Peacocks controlled the pace over the first 25 minutes of action, with the Jaspers being the aggressor over the final 20 minutes. In the 32nd minute, Fourrier appeared in position to dent the scoreboard, but was denied as he tried to go to the far post.
