The teams will conclude their series with a single game tomorrow at 11:30 am.

Game One
Junior RHP
Marc Galvan (Brielle, NJ / Manasquan) fired 5.0 innings of one-run relief to lift Manhattan to a hard-fought 3-2 win over Fairfield in game one.
The Stags opened up the scoring with an unearned run in the top of the second as Dan Ryan plated Kevin Radziewicz with a run-scoring single to right center.
In the bottom part of the frame, the Jaspers immediately got that run back as freshman
Matt Padre (Flemington, NJ / Hunterdon Central) crushed a solo home run to left field to tie it up at 1-1.
Manhattan then took its first lead of the day in the bottom of the fifth with a run but the damage could have been worse as the Jaspers left the bases loaded. Graduate student
Matt Forlow (Cold Spring, NY / Haldane) drew a one-out walk before moving to second on a wild pitch. Junior
Fabian Pena followed with a run-scoring single through the left side to plate Forlow in making it a 2-1 game.
After Fairfield tied it up on a RBI fielder's choice the Jaspers reclaimed the lead for good in the bottom of the sixth. Sophomore
Alex Cerda (Miami, FL / Florida Christian Prep) led off with an infield single through the left side before moving to third on a
Brendan Bisset (Sr., New City, NY / Don Bosco Prep (NJ)) single. Forlow followed with a RBI ground out to shortstop that chased in Cerda in giving Manhattan what would prove to be an insurmountable 3-2 advantage.
The Stags would only be able to muster one runner over the final three innings with sophomore
T.J. Stuart (Milford, CT / Joseph A. Foran) working a clean ninth in registering his MAAC-leading seventh save.
Galvan improved to 3-3 on the year with the win, striking out five while yielding scattering four hits and one walk.
Padre was 2-for-4 with his second home run of the year while Cerda was 2-for-4 with a run to highlight an eight-hit Jasper offense.
Drew Arciuolo was 2-for-4 to lead the way for Fairfield, which rapped out six hits.
RHP Brendan Harkin was saddled with the loss, surrendering one run on two hits with four strikeouts over 3.0 innings.
Game Two
RHP John Signore fired a complete game shutout as Fairfield defeated Manhattan 1-0 in game two.
The Jaspers threatened in their final at-bat as junior
Richie Barrella (Larchmont, NY / Canterbury Prep) drew a leadoff walk before later advancing to third on a two-out error. Junior Brendan Valls then hit a ball to the right side that Tom Ryan knocked down between first and second before getting to his feet and throwing out Valls by a step to end the game.
Bisset led the way offensively for Manhattan, going 2-for-3 with a double while Padre registered the only other hit for the Jaspers.
The Stags scored the lone run of the game in the top of the fifth when Arciuolo blooped a double down the right field line to plate Ryan, who had reached on a two-out error.
Despite the loss, graduate student
Matt Simonetti (Manalapan, NJ / Manalapan) was outstanding, striking out five, against no walks, while yielding just an unearned run on seven hits over 7.0 innings while extending his scoreless streak to 28.0 innings.
Arciuolo and Drew Blake each two hits to pace Fairfield in game two.
