Swimming And Diving Enjoys Success, Scenery In D.C.

Washington, D.C. – Spending the first part of the weekend in the nation's capital, Manhattan swimming and diving capitalized on the experience with great results in the pool and a great time as tourists outside the water.

In the tri-meet against American and Howard on Friday evening, the Jasper men defeated both teams to remain a perfect 6-0 against their competition this year. The women fell to the Eagles and were narrowly edged out by the Bison.

On Saturday, both teams went out on the town, visiting the Air and Space Museum, the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol Building and more.

The Jaspers are idle until Sunday, October 21 when they participate in the NJIT Invitational in Newark, NJ. The women will face MAAC foe Saint Peter's as well as Mount St. Mary's, while the men battle those programs and the host Highlanders.
