RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College Men's Swimming team dropped their second consecutive meet of the 2011-2012 season on Saturday afternoon falling to the University of Bridgeport 135-104 at Riverdale Country School.
The Purple Knights had a first place finisher in 10 of the 13 total events in a dominating effort spoiling the first ever Alumni Weekend for Jaspers swimming.
Manhattan's lone winners included sophomore Dennis Daly who finished the 100 yard breaststroke with a 1:02.42 time while teammate Chris Parker took third in the same event. Parker then added a victory of his own as the Jaspers took first, second and third in the 200 yard breaststroke with Daly and Mike Mackay finishing behind Parker respectively.
The men also swept points in the 500 yard freestyle with RJ Meany finishing first in a time of 5:07.20, while Joseph Cusmano and Michael Dalia claimed second and third places.
Manhattan (6-3) will return home on Sat., Nov. 12 when they host the Fairfield Stags at 2 p.m. at Riverdale Country School.
