GENERAL: Southpaw who adds depth to the bullpen.

2010: Made 11 appearances, pitching 14 1/3 innings... named MAAC Pitcher of the Week on May 24 after pitching Manhattan to an extra inning victory over Siena (5/21) in the regular-season finale to clinch a spot in the MAAC Tournament... retired 12-of-14 Saints and did not allow a hit over the final three innings as the Jaspers came back from 12 runs down... recorded 11 strikeouts and walked only four batters... finished with an 8.16 ERA and .339 batting average against.

2009: Did not play.

2008: Appeared in eight games and started one... notched six strikeouts in 11.2 innings of action... made collegiate debut at Charlotte (2/23)... pitched three innings, struck out two batters and yielded just one run at South Alabama (3/1)... made first career start at Long Island (3/25)... pitched in victories over VCU (3/15), Sacred Heart (4/16), Saint Peter's (5/11) and Fairfield (5/17)... recorded a 3.00 ERA and a .222 batting average against in MAAC contests.

BEFORE MANHATTAN:  Served as team captain senior year at Iona Prep... named All-Archdiocesan Bronx/Westchester at the conclusion of senior season... helped lead Iona Prep to Division Championship as a junior and senior... posted a 1.25 ERA and a 3-1 record, while striking out 30 batters over 28.0 innings of work as a senior... helped lead team to an 18-5 record, a league championship, and a berth in the CHSAA playoffs his senior season... an Honor Roll student.

PERSONAL: Majoring in finance... the son of Dominick and Debbie Ardino... has a fraternal twin brother, Mathew, who attends Manhattan College.
