Biography

2014-15: Enjoyed success as a junior, swimming personal best in the 50 Free (22.67), 100 Free (49.77), 200 Free (1:51.79), 50 Fly (25.79), 100 Fly (55.99).

2013-14: Had a breakout season in his sophomore campaign, as he achieved several personal bests...had a personal best time in his 100 free at the MAAC Championships...had a personal best in the 50 freestyle...looks to improve on his already impressive times in his junior year.

2012-13: Competed in the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay against Marywood (10/13/12)...placed fifth in the 200 free against Baruch (11/16/12) while also competing in the 200 medley relay...on the 200 medley relay team that placed third against Mount St. Vincent's (11/27/12)...competed in the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays at Iona (1/28/13)

BEFORE MANHATTAN: Was a four year swimmer for Dennis Wresch at Archbishop Molloy...named captain and team MVP as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born on 12/26/93...son of Thomas and Regina Dougherty...has an older sister, Katherine...Engineering major...also recruited by SUNY New Paltz and Queens College.
