Biography

2007:  Played in 15 game, starting 1... was second on squad in ground balls with 32... second on team in face off percentage (.488)... scored goal vs. Lees-McRae (3/12)... had 6 ground balls vs. Lees-McRae. vs. VMI (3/24) and vs. Yale (4/15)...  had 4 ground balls vs. Siena (3/31)... was named to the 2007 MAAC All-Academic Team.

2006: Earned MAAC All-Academic honors... Saw action in all of the team’s 13 games, serving as a midfielder and face-off specialist... won 44.1 percent of face-offs taken (71 of 161)... secured a total of 29 groundballs... picked up a season high six groundballs in a win over Wagner (4/26)... in a victory over VMI (4/29), he recorded five groundballs.

2005: Played in 10 games as a freshman at mid-field and also took some face-offs for the Jaspers... won 19 of 42 face-offs (45.2 percent)... picked up five groundballs on the year.

Before Manhattan: Named All-Section as a senior... received honorable mention All-Section as a junior... All-League and All-Section in football... member of the National Honor Society... High Honor Roll all four years.

Personal: Born April 9, 1986... son of Howard and Judy Gorinson... is first in his family to receive an athletic scholarship.
