POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Manhattan men's lacrosse concluded its 2025 campaign at Marist on Sunday afternoon. The #5 Jaspers dropped the quarterfinals match-up by a score of 16-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED

The Red Foxes were the enforcers early, jumping out to a 7-1 lead by the 7:26 mark of the second quarter. Manhattan's first goal came at the end of the first quarter off the stick of Scott O'Connor.

The Manhattan defense locked in for a stretch, keeping Marist off the scoresheet over 16 minutes of game time during which the Jaspers cut the deficit to 7-3. Thomas White and Drew Hiner were the second and third goal scorers for the resilient Jaspers.

Marist would ultimately put the game out of reach with seven straight goals that opened up a 14-3 lead for the home side.

Manhattan scored four of the last six goals, with Liam Peabody adding a pair and seniors Kelly DuPree and Drew Hiner scoring the final goals of their careers.
