BURLINGTON, VT — Manhattan dug a hole early and never got out of it on its way to a 12-6 defeat at University of Vermont. The Jaspers were doubled on the scoreboard in its first loss of the 2025 campaign.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Scott O'Connor broke the seal for Manhattan at 6:28 of the first quarter, but the Catamounts answered with six unanswered to take a 6-1 lead into halftime.

Manhattan's next strike came at 14:05 of the third quarter, with Aiden Kane finding the back of the net to break a stretch of 22:23 in game clock without a Jaspers goal.

Manhattan was outscored 6-4 the rest of the way, as Drew Hiner, Tyler Mosca and Connor Engel each scored with Engel adding a pair.

The Jaspers were forced into 23 turnovers on Saturday afternoon. Across Manhattan's two games of the season, the Jaspers coughed it up a combined 25 times.
