NEW YORK, N.Y. — Manhattan Men's Track & Field once again tested themselves on Day Two of the Dr. Sander Scorcher. The Jaspers had three invitational entries in the Shot Put, 200m and Long Jump.
HIGHLIGHTS

Among the invitational entries was graduate thrower Paul Brennan who notched 6th place in Men's Shot Put (Invitational). Two weeks ago, Brennan scored 15.56m in the shot put which was a new college best and earned him 6th place.

In the Men's 200m (Invitational), senior Darion Lopez secured 8th place with a time of 22 seconds.

In the Men's Long Jump (Invitational), junior Alex Bilello posted a mark of 6.64m for 16th place in the event. Yesterday, Bilello showcased his talent in the Men's 60m (Open) event by securing 6th place.

Meanwhile, the Men's Long Jump (Open) saw freshman Sammy Somwaru and his classmate Theodore Lodge take home 8th place and 13th place, respectively.

The Metropolitan Championships await Manhattan. The Jaspers will trek to Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island next Friday, Jan. 31st to face off with the area's best.
