NEW BRITAIN, CT - The Manhattan Jaspers women's basketball team (0-1) look to rebound against the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils (0-1) inside the Detrick Gymnasium on Thursday night.
The Jaspers will be playing the Blue Devils for the second time in program history. The first time came back 367 days ago, when Manhattan defeated CCSU by double-digits inside Draddy Gymnasium.
2024 Preseason All-MAAC selection Petra Juric led the game with 10 points for her squad. Leyla Öztürk paced the returners with six rebounds on the night.
Throughout the lone contest for CCSU, the Blue Devils did not eclipse double-digits in an individual quarter against the stifling Jasper defense.
