Loudonville, NY - Manhattan felt the wrath of Siena early on Wednesday afternoon at Hickey Field as the Saints rolled to a 3-0 win.
The Saints got on the board first with a goal from Megan Stowell in the 19th minute. Stowell made a heads up play by cleaning up an initial shot that was blocked before burying her shot from inside the box. Molly Brunk stood little chance on the play.
In the 41st minute, Siena extended their lead to 2 goals when Annie Bagnall's one-touch inside the box beat Brunk. Stowell was credited for the assist on the play. Siena capped their scoring in the 64th minute when Maya Costa cleaned up a cross from the left side which took a deflection off of Cate Flanagan.
Manhattan couldn't muster a shot on goal against the Saints defense. With the win, Siena moves ahead of Manhattan in the MAAC standings. The Jaspers sit in fifth place.
