Women's Track and Field Competes in Final Meet Before MAACs

EWING, N.J. – The Manhattan women's track and field turned in a strong showing in the final meet before the MAAC Championships, running at the Lions Invitational on Saturday.

The women's 800m had three Jaspers finish in the top 10, including two top-five placements. Andria Scaglione and Nicola Scaglione finished in fourth and fifth with times of 2:22.50 and 2:23.11. Kylie Conroy finished in ninth with a time of 2:27.04. All three times are new PRs for the Jaspers.

In the women's long jump, third place belongs to Anya Alfonsetti-Terry with a top leap of 5.16m. Alexandra Caraher finished in fifth in the discus with a top mark of 34.40m.

The women's 400m featured a pair of Jaspers in Elaina Batista and Ava Kowal, who finished the race in 1:04.03. and 1:05.43 respectively.
