Stickdorn Named Most Outstanding Field Performer of the Meet; Jaspers Finish in Fourth

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Kristin Stickdorn was named Most Outstanding Field Performer as the Manhattan women's track and field team finished in fourth with 47 points at the 2023 MAAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Rider won the title with 193 points while Quinnipiac was not far behind in second with 179 points.

Stickdorn earned another piece of hardware, this one being a silver medal in the shot put, with her best throw being 12.65m. 

Makayla Dorvil finished in eighth in the triple jump with a best leap of 10.93.

Two Jaspers qualified for the 3000m, Andria Scaglione and Bella Cannizzo. Scaglione finished in 13th with a time of 10:22.25 while Cannizzo crossed the finish line in 10:53.59.

The 4x800 relay team of Nicola Scaglione, Ava Kowal, Nicole Kelch, and Fiona Mohl finished the race in 10:29.40. The other relay team, the 4x400 team of Elaina Batista, Isabella Sing, Hannah Harrington and Skye Lehr finished in 4:17.61 for sixth place.

The indoor season resumes after a one-week reprieve, with ECAC's being up next from Mar 4-5.
