Manhattan (10-14, 7-8 MAAC) went 1-1 last week, dropping a contest at Siena but bouncing back on Sunday, taking down Rider on the road, 71-56, while shooting over 50 percent from beyond the arc.
The Red Foxes will arrive in Riverdale on Thursday at 10-13 overall and 6-8 in the MAAC while looking to snap a three-game skid. In January, Manhattan was defeated by Marist in Poughkeepsie, 56-43. Zaria Shazer and Kiara Fisher power the Red Foxes' offense. Shazer drops 15.4 points per game, with 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Fisher, who hung 44 points on The Mount on Jan. 19, which surpassed
Dee Dee Davis's 37-point performance against Siena for the most points in a MAAC game this year, contributes 13.5 points per game. The other Red Fox to average double-figures is Kendall Krick, posting 11 points a game.
The Peacocks found themselves in Riverdale a couple of weeks ago as the Green and White celebrated senior day, which Manhattan won 57-44. That win kept head coach
Heather Vulin's record against the Peacocks unblemished,13-0. The Peacocks are still searching for that elusive first win of the 2022-2023 season, currently sitting at 0-24 and 0-15 in the MAAC.
