BRONX, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's basketball will host Fairleigh Dickinson this Friday for its sixth non-conference home game. 

Game Info: Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at Draddy Gymnasium. The game will be televised on ESPN+. 

Series Info: Friday will mark the first meeting between Manhattan and FDU since November 13, 2022, with Jaspers falling short 77-74. 

New Beginnings: The 2023-24 season is the first at Manhattan for head coach John Gallagher. He arrived in Riverdale after being the head coach at Hartford from 2010-2022, during which he accumulated 169 wins, including 15 wins during the pandemic-shortened 2020-2021 season in which the Hawks won the America East Tournament and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Gallagher led Hartford to two other postseason tournaments during his tenure. Before Hartford, Gallagher was an assistant coach at Boston College, the University of Pennsylvania, Hartford, Lafayette College, and LaSalle University.

The Preview: The Manhattan men's basketball is coming off a conference game loss against Marist College. The Jaspers (4-3, 1-0 MAAC) were led in scoring by Daniel Rouzan, who recorded 18 points. Jaden Winston facilitated the attack tonight recording 10 assists for Manhattan. 

On the Road Again: Manhattan is 2-4 in road contests with wins over Bryant and Central Connecticut State this season. 

What's Ahead: The Jaspers will travel to New Jersey to play Monmouth University on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. at the OceanFirst Bank Center.
