RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's basketball team will take on Monmouth University this Thursday for its seventh non-conference road game. 

Game Info: Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET in West Long Branch, NJ at the OceanFirst Bank Center. The game will be televised on Flo Sports. 

Series Info: Thursday will mark the first meeting between Manhattan and Monmouth since December 4, 2022.

The Preview: The Manhattan (4-5) men's basketball is coming off a 76-71 loss against FDU. Shaquil Bender recorded a career-high 21 points, the most by a Jasper this season, including five made three-pointers. He also pulled down eight rebounds. Seydou Traore was just shy of a double-double as he registered nine points and a career-high 17 rebounds. 

Leaderboard: Traore leads the MAAC in rebounds at 9.3 and ranks 18th nationally amongst freshmen in points per game at 11.4. 

What's Ahead: The Jaspers will host Wagner College on Saturday, Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. in Draddy Gymnasium. It's Family Day, so come one, come all.
