MONTGOMERY, N. Y. – Andria Scaglione and Jared Lautenslager earned all-conference honors at the 2023 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships held today at Twin Ponds on the Farm.
"Today was a great day for the MAAC Championships, with outstanding competition," said Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Kerri Inman. "It's great to see Andria and Jared earn All-MAAC honors with such a strong field."
Quinnipiac won the women's title 31 points. The women's team placed seventh overall with 184 points. Scaglione places ninth overall with a time of 21:41.5, followed by Kylie Conroy's time of 23:05.8. Next to cross the line for Manhattan was Bella Cannizzo at 23:50, then Bailee Christofis (24:32.5), and Margaret Pappas (24:51.3).
On the men's side, Iona won the team title with 19 points. The Jaspers placed eighth with 233 points. Lautenslager's time of 25:14.6 placed him 12th overall. Adam Guzman was the second Jasper to finish with a time of 28:30.9. Rounding out the top five were Dean Mayo (28:47.2), Jack Flanagan (28:53.4), and Brendan Chan (28:58.0).
