Box Score RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan College men's soccer team tied Saint Peter's tonight, 1-1, at Gaelic Park.

"It was another tough game where we found plenty of moments to be ahead but could not take our chances, especially in the first half," said head coach
Jorden Scott. "We look forward to a weekend of rest and welcoming some guys back into the rotation before we head to the defending champions."
Manhattan led in shots for the first half, 5-4, as neither team was able to find the back of the net. Â

Saint Peter's struck first in the 61st minute when it punched the ball from about 50 yards out landing at the feet of Mikkel Fodstad, who scored from about 10 yards out to beat the keeper.

The Jaspers responded in the 85th minute when they were able to take advantage of a penalty kick that
Henry Hamilton sailed right past the keeper to make it a 1-1 match.

Danny DiMarco had a pair of saves at the half to finish with three for the match. Hamilton led the Jaspers in shots with three.

Saint Peter's record moves to 2-6-4 overall and 1-3-2 in the MAAC.

Manhattan (5-5-3, 5-1-1 MAAC) plays at Quinnipiac next Wednesday at 3 p.m., before closing out the regular season with two games at home. The Jaspers host Siena on Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. and Iona on Nov. 1 at 2 p.m.
