RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan men's soccer team is ready for its rematch with LIU this week.
The Jaspers head to Long Island on Wednesday, Sept. 14 for a 3 p.m. match. The Sharks came to Gaelic Park last year and walked away with a 4-0 win.
Manhattan (1-2-2), coming off a week in which they drew with Columbia (1-1), but dropped the "Battle of the Bronx" to Fordham, is looking to return to the win column in the club's penultimate non-conference match for the 2022 regular season.
The Jaspers offensive attack has been lead by
Gunnar Studenhofft and
Henry Hamilton, each netting two goals.
James Cotter has provded two assists to go alongside one goal.
LIU (3-2) enters the match following a 2-0 win over Dartmouth, and also lost to Fordham earlier in the year.
