BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Sophomore RJ Decker competed at the NCAA East Prelims on Wednesday morning at the University of Indiana.
Decker finished 40th in a field that featured the best throwers from the eastern half of the country. Decker came home ahead of student-athletes from Louisville, Clemson, Rutgers, and others.
The Otisville, N.Y. native recorded a best of 57.83m, which came on his second throw. The mark would still be the best mark in the MAAC this season if not for Decker's own season-best of 61.60m, which got him into the prelims, from the Penn Relays in April.
