WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – There was only one event on Friday at the IC4A Championships, the hammer, and Manhattan was on the top step with RJ Decker's win.
The sophomore won with a mark of 61.05m to finish two meters clear of second place. Decker, who won the MAAC Title in the discipline, picked up his third win this outdoor season.
Joesph Pelio also competed in the hammer for the Jaspers and finished in 13th with a best of 47.96m.
The Jaspers are back in action at William and Mary on Saturday for both the IC4A and ECAC Championships.
