BOSTON – The Manhattan men's track and field team completed the second day of IC4A Championships in Boston, Mass. on Saturday.
RJ Decker finished third in the weight throw. The sophomore had a best of 18.45m and was less than a meter off the top spot.
Justin Jordaens, Harrison Alonzo, Dom Boccia, Ryan Tierney teamed up for the DMR. The quartet finished ninth in a time of 10:02.64. The time is a new season-best by Manhattan in the event.
In the 5000m, Pelle Nogueira and Michael Hennelly finished 20th and 25th respectively. Nogueira's time of 14:30.72 is a season-best by a Jasper.
Marc Carrera finished 35th in the mile.
Manhattan sits in a tie for 13th after six events scored. Tomorrow, Sunday, is the third and final day of the competition in Boston.
