Union, N.J. – Manhattan women's swimming and diving team placed fourth in the Cougar Invitational, scoring 71 points.
For individual races, Abbey Mink came in fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a final time of 25.38, only .01 seconds behind Kean University in third. Kayla Guilfoil also placed in the event, coming in 10th place with a final time of 26.37.
For group events, the Jaspers placed sixth in the 400-yard medley relay with a final time of 4:25.60. Guilfoil, Mink, Sophia Leber, and Jessica O'Brien made up the team for the Jaspers. The Jaspers also placed sixth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a final time of 1:46.56. Mink, O'Brien, Leber, and Guilfoil made up the team for the Jaspers.
Manhattan swims again on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 10:30 a.m. at the Cougar Invitational in Union, N.J.
