RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan men's swimming and diving team fell to Monmouth by a final score of 204-52 on Saturday.
For individual races, Joe Brennan came in first in the 100-yard breaststroke a with time of 58.29, 2.22 seconds faster than second place.
The Jaspers took first and second place in the 200-yard freestyle relay, with final times of 1:30.16 and 1:38.14, scoring Manhattan 15 points. Brennan, Andrew Lebak, Branden Deiss, Jonathan Carsen took the win for the Jaspers.
"It was a good performance by us considering it's a tough time of the year. This time of the year were all practicing and training hard, so everyone is fatigued. Also being short a couple of teammates due to just general outages," said head coach Eric Rasmussen, Jr.
Manhattan swims again on Friday, Nov. 18, at 5 p.m. at the Cougar Invitational in Union, N.J.
