STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The Manhattan men's track and field team hit the track for the NYC Gotham Cup at the Ocean Breeze Complex on Friday. 
 
The men posted three individual wins and a number of top ten finishes on Friday.
 
David Lozipone won the 500m with a time of 14:47.02. The junior was followed by fellow classmate Pella Nogueira, who finished fourth with a time of 14:56.34. Michael Hennelly was seventh for Manhattan.  
 
Anu Awonusi took home his second shot put victory of the winter season, throwing a distance of 16.25m. While freshman Robert Decker won the weight throw with a distance of 17.99m. Both marks are IC4A qualifying marks. 
 
Peter Athanailos was 10th in the shot put for Manhattan. 
 
The quartet of Brian Odour, Kaya Simpson, Saul, and Alonzo finished tenth in 4x400, with a time of 3.28.35. 
 
The Jaspers got a sixth-place finished from Travis Delaney in the 1000m run (2:34.05). 
 
The Jaspers return to the track on Feb. 3 at Ocean Breeze for the Metropolitan Championships.
