Pennsauken Township, NJ - 
Manhattan placed eighth at the 2021 MAAC Women's Rowing Championship at Cooper River Park.

* Senior Ella O'Brien (Hadley, MA / Hopkins Academy) garnered All-MAAC Second Team honors for the second time in her career, while becoming the first Jasper in program history to earn multiple honors.

* Meanwhile, junior Emily Hughes (Pottstown, PA / Owen J. Roberts) collected her first career All-MAAC Second Team citation.

* Coach Canale: "I am really proud of how our team continued to gain speed throughout the season with each boat clocking their fastest times of the year at the MAAC Championship. This relatively young group, with only nine having competed at MAACs before, is poised to make even greater strides as we return to a normal training schedule in the Fall of 2021."

* Marist won all three races en route to winning the team title with 54 points, followed by Jacksonville (45), Stetson (43), Fairfield (28), Drake (27), Sacred Heart (24), Canisius (21), Manhattan (18) and Robert Morris (10).

Varsity Eight II – 5th-of-9 (7:32.92)
* The Jaspers posted the top performance in program history, finishing the Grand Final in fifth place, after posting an impressive mark of 7:15.22 in the prelims.
* Line-Up: Coxswain: Elyse Holmes (Jr., Alexandria, VA / Bishop Ireton), Katie Martone (So., Ambler, PA / Gwynedd Mercy Academy), Alexa Schmidt (Sr., Emerson, NJ / Emerson), Maura McCarthy (So., Severna Park, MD / Institute of Notre Dame), Morgan McLean (So., Wading River, NY / Riverhead), Claire Vredenburg (So., Baldwinsville, NY / C.W. Baker), Maria Blas-Perez (Sr., Woodstock, NY / John A. Coleman Catholic), Jacqueline Lubarsky (Fr. Greenwich, CT / Greenwich Country Day) and Lily Mikes (Fr., Oklahoma City, OK / Putnam City North).

Varsity Eight I – 8th-of-9 (7:11.29)
* The Jaspers placed second in the Petite Final, after clocking a 7:08.85 in the prelims.
* Line-Up: Coxswain: Shannon Gleba (Sr., Midland Park, NJ / Immaculate Heart), Kerry Brosnan (Sr., Mahopac, NY / Kennedy Catholic), Emily Hughes (Jr., Pottstown, PA / Owen J. Roberts), Ella O'Brien (Sr., (Hadley, MA / Hopkins Academy), Janine Gayanelo (So., White Plains, NY / Kennedy Catholic), Morgan Etta (So., Cold Spring, NY / Haldane), Rachel Foertch (Sr., Syracuse, NY / C.W. Baker), Lauryn Hughes (Jr., New York, NY / Clarkstown South) and Joséphine Lacoudre (So., Versailles, France / Scarsdale (NY)).

Varsity Four I – 8th-of-9 (9:12.68)
* Manhattan finished second in the Petite Final, after registering a time of 8:53.91 in the prelims.
* The Jaspers improved on their prelim time by almost six seconds, while improving on last year's sixth-place finish.
* Line-Up: Coxswain: Freshman Kerry Sullivan (Lancaster, NY / St. Mary's), Junior Christina Collado (Bronx, NY / Mount Saint Ursula), Sophomore Amanda Touse (So., Fort Edward, NY / South Glens Falls), Maeve McNally-Cullum (So., New York, NY / Notre Dame School of Manhattan) and Brianna Scollan (Jr., Tappan, NY / Tappan Zee).
