Manhattan Competes At Tom Farrell Classic

 Manhattan registered three victories on Saturday at the Tom Farrell Classic at DaSilva Field.

* In the pole vault, junior Lilly Brown (Ringwood, NY / Lakeland Regional) won the pole vault with a personal-best matching 3.35 meters.

* Junior Shayna Arrigo (Farmingville, NY / Sachem East) took second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:22.17.

* On the men's side, sophomore Quemarii Williams (Danville, IL / Danville) won the 800 meter dash with a mark of 1:57.46, while freshman Jackson Haft (Smithtown, NY / Smithtown West) cleared a height of 3.80 meters in claiming the pole vault title.

* Junior Marc Carrera (Staten Island, NY / St. Peter's) took second in the 1500 meters (3:58.77).

* Classmate Liam Farrell (Hyde Park, NY / F.D. Roosevelt) finished second in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a mark of 10:47.00.

* The Jaspers will compete tomorrow in the 12th Rock Throws Series #1 in Middletown, NY.
