Poughkeepsie, NY - Manhattan dropped a 14-7 decision to Marist in the regular season finale for both teams at Tenney Stadium.

* Despite the defeat, the Jaspers claimed a share of the MAAC Regular Season Championship with Monmouth and Quinnipiac, as each team finished with four wins.

* Official seedings for the upcoming MAAC Championship will be released by the league office.

* Manhattan opened the scoring on the night with goals from senior Jake Nicolosi (West Islip, NY / West Islip) and sophomore Kyle Gucwa (Pottstown, PA / Bishop Shanahan) in taking a 2-0 lead with 11:51 to play in the opening stanza.

* After Marist tied it up with a pair of goals to make it a 2-2 game after one period, the Jaspers took a 4-2 lead into the break as Gucwa found the back of the net with 21 seconds to play until halftime, and senior Justin Malpica (Glen Head, NY / Long Island Lutheran) followed suit with the game clock expiring. 

* The Red Foxes responded with a 3-0 spurt, before Christian Lyons (So., Syosset, NY / Syosset) tied it up at 5-5 at the 4:52 mark of the third period with his first goal of the year.

* Marist would end the game on a 9-2 run, with the final two Manhattan goals coming off the sticks of junior Liam Walshe (Commack, NY / Commack) and sophomore Blake Van Epps (Albany, NY / Albany Academy).

* Gucwa scored two goals with an assist to lead the way for the Jaspers on offense, while Malpica added a goal and an assist.

* Senior Brendan Krebs (East Williston, NY / Chaminade) turned away a season-high 17 shots, including 11 in the first half.

* Junior Sean Baudille (Babylon, NY / Babylon) was 11-for-24 on faceoffs, and scooped up a team-best five ground balls.

* Manhattan concludes the regular season with a 4-4 record, including 4-3 in the MAAC, while Marist is now 3-0, including 2-0 in the league.
