Lake Buena Vista, FL - Junior Sam Taraian (Rehoboth, MA / Dighton-Rehoboth Regional) carded a 2-over par 74 to lead the way for Manhattan on day one of the MAAC Men's Golf Championship at the 6,891-yard, par-72 Disney Magnolia Golf Course.

* The Jaspers are in eighth place after shooting a 308 (+20).

* Taraian is tied for 19th, while Grant Griswold (Walpole, MA / Hilton Head Preparatory (SC)) is one stroke back in 23rd after shooting a 75 (+3).

* Sophomore Lincoln Haymaker (Nashville, TN / Davidson Academy) fired a 78 (+6) and is tied for 36th, while senior Justin Ming (Pelham, NY / Pelham) rounded out the Manhattan scorers with an 81 (+9).

* Manhattan will tee off tomorrow 7:30 am.
