Riverdale, NY– Bryant posted a 12-2 victory over Manhattan at Gaelic Park on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore Meghan Rodino (Natick, MA / Natick) and senior Emily Sandford (Floral Park, NY / Sacred Heart) each scored a goal for the Jaspers.  Freshman Ashley Gambardella (Bethpage, NY / Plainedge) started in net and made a career high 11 saves for the Jaspers.

Bryant scored the five goals of the game, before Rodino notched the first Jasper goal to make it 5-1 early in the second half.  For Rodino, it was the first goal of her career, and her third career point.

However, the Bulldogs answered with the next six goals before junior Carmella Liscio (Blauvelt, NY / Tappan Zee) found a cutting Sandford for Manhattan's second goal of the game.

Bryant (3-1) outshot the Jaspers (1-3) by a 31-13 count.

The Bulldogs were led by Alexa Weber and Caitilin Breglia, who each had hat tricks..

Manhattan concludes its homestand next Saturday, February 29 against Detroit-Mercy. The game is scheduled for 4:00 pm in the second half of a men's/women's lacrosse doubleheader at Gaelic Park.
