XC Heads To Monmouth

Holmdel, NJ - Manhattan cross country will race in Monmouth's Henry Mercer Invitational Saturday, September 21 in New Jersey's Holmdel Park, home to the 2019 MAAC Cross Country Championships. 

Meet Notes:

• The Jasper women will run a 5K course in Holmdel, while the men will take on the 8K route. 
• Manhattan will race six women and seven men, including reigning MAAC Runner of the Week Aidan Donahue (Rockaway Park, NY / Xavier), who was the Jaspers' top finisher at last week's Army West Point Open. 
• The last time the Jaspers raced in Homdel Park was the 2017 MAAC Championships, where the Manhattan men placed second overall as a team in the 8K race. The women finished fourth for the 6K course. 
• Seven other MAAC schools are set to compete at Monmouth on Saturday, including Marist and Siena, who the Jaspers faced in their season opener on August 31. 
• The women's race will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the men to follow at 10:15 a.m.
