Highlights:
- North Alabama triumphed with a three-set score of 26-24, 25-19, 25-16.
- Junior middleblocker Erin Hoener (St. Louis, MO / Incarnate Word) paced Manhattan with seven kills, adding a block.
- Freshman Lizzi Brown (Orlando, FL / Bishop Moore) contributed a game-high five aces, her collegiate best. She added six kills for the afternoon.
- Libero Nashally Eleutiza (Orlando, FL / Monroe) earned a match-high 15 digs, giving her a 3.80 digs/set average for the year.
- Manhattan jumped out to a 10-4 lead in the first set, taking advantage of sharp serving from Brown, who had two aces in the run. The Lions then went on a 6-2 streak, paced by three kills from Alyssa Dutton. Two aces from defensive specialist Katelynn Riner (Kennesaw, GA / Georgia Southern) halted the Lions' run, and Manhattan was able to bring its advantage to 19-13 late in the first. But it wasn't enough to stop North Alabama indefinitely: Down 24-21, the Lions scored the next five points, including two kills from Dutton, to take the first.
- North Alabama also went on a 6-1 run to end the second, and an 8-0 run to close out the match in the third.
