Denver, CO - The Manhattan Women's Lacrosse team placed 11 student-athletes on the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division 1 Academic Honor Roll.
To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
"Congratulations to our 11 student-athletes on earning this honor," said Associate Athletic Director Kathryn Mirance, who also serves as the women's' lacrosse sport administrator. "This level of academic achievement while also making strides as a program on the field is major accomplishment."
The 11 student-athletes represent the second-most honorees from the nine MAAC schools that sponsor women's lacrosse.
All told, the IWLCA honored 518 student-athletes from 101 different institutions.
