Ryan Addlesberger (Cinnaminson, NJ / Cinnaminson) finished up his collegiate career at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field East Regionals, competing in the men's shot put Saturday, May 25.
Addlesberger, who qualified for the preliminaries after finishing the season ranked 41st in the east with a 17.64-meter shot put performance, fouled three times on Saturday, one of four competitors unable to earn a mark on the day. Georgia's Denzel Comenentia hit a distance of 20.32 meters for the win, joining the next 11 competitors at the NCAA Championships in Austin, TX starting June 5.
Addlesberger, a 2018 NCAA East Regional qualifier in the shot put, won silver in the event at this year's MAAC Championships, and placed ninth at the IC4A Championships. He won the MAAC and Metropolitan Championships in the event in 2018.
