New Rochelle, NY – Iona scored in 103rd minute to complete a 2-1 come-from-behind win over Manhattan in MAAC action at Mazzella Field.
The Gaels tied the match with forcing overtime with a score in the 88th minute.
Junior
Moritz Riegel (Hannover, Germany / Leibniz Universität Hannover) scored deep in the second half, in the 72nd minute, to give Manhattan a 1-0 lead. Riegel's second goal of the season was a close range, low shot that caromed past Iona netminder Gabriel Cinanni.
Manhattan held the advantage in shots (12-10) and corner kicks (8-7).

The Jaspers falls to 3-6-0 and a 2-1-0 in MAAC play, while the Gaels improve to 7-2 and 2-0 in the league.
