Waugh was one of four Jaspers to earn individual wins at the meet, and one of seven to take home victories over two meets this weekend.
Highlights:
- Waugh hit a distance of 16.85 meters in the men's weight throw on Saturday, besting his first-place performance of 16.13 meters at Fordham's Brian Horowitz Invite on Friday. It was his best weight throw performance so far this indoor season. Classmate Nicholas Kocienda (Seaford, NY / Seaford) finished just behind Waugh on Saturday, earning second place with a distance of 16.33 meters.
- Senior Ryan Addlesberger (Cinnaminson, NJ / Cinnaminson) claimed his first victory of 2018-19, taking the men's shot put with a throw of 16.41 meters. Teammate Anu Awonusi (Dublin, Ireland / Kilkenny College), who won the men's shot at Fordham on Friday, finished close behind Addlesberger, recording a throw of 16.15 meters and securing second place.
- Lasma Padedze (Ogre, Latvia / Ogre Secondary School No. 1) won the women's shot put, hitting a distance of 13.88 meters. The win marks Padedze's second first-place finish in the shot put this season.
- In her first collegiate 800-meter race, freshman Hali Ielfield (Glenfield, NY / South Lewis Central) won with a time of 2:20.38, her second victory of the season after placing first in the women's mile at the Yale Season Opener on December 8. Teammate Erin Spadaccini (Wilmington, DE / Padua Academy) earned second in the women's 800 on Saturday, finishing with a time of 2:20.49.
- Lilly Brown earned second place in the women's pole vault, reaching a height of 3.35 meters, her best collegiate performance so far.
- Lisa Warfvinge reached 5.78 meters in the women's long jump, good for second place and a personal best.
- Freshman Amahri Boyce took third in the women's 60-meters (7.85) and sixth in the women's 200 (25.62).
- Zarah Harris (Joppa, MD / Harford Technical) placed third in the women's 500-meter race, posting a time of 1:17.13.
- Larry McCullum nabbed third in the men's 60-meters, recording an IC4A-qualifying time of 6.98, his collegiate best. McCullum also took fourth in the men's 200-meters with a time of 22.39.
- Senior Chris Woodhouse (Staten Island, NY / Staten Island Technical) earned third in the men's pole vault with a height of 4.30 meters,
Manhattan will travel to Boston for the BU Terrier Classic January 25-26.
