The Jaspers travel to West Long Branch, NJ to face the Hawks on Wednesday, September 26 at 7:00 pm. The game will air on ESPN3 and will have live stats as well.
The MAAC home opener with the Peacocks takes place on Saturday, September 29 at 6:00 pm. The Jasper Sports Network will stream the game for those who can't make it to Gaelic Park, while the athletic department will supplement the coverage with live stats.

Rankings on Rankings
- For the first time in program history, Manhattan was listed in the College Soccer News Top 30 National Poll, slotting into 30th and serving as the MAAC's lone recipient.
- The United Soccer Coaches updated its top 25 ranking on Tuesday, and Manhattan received nine votes. The number of votes puts the Jaspers in as the 34th-best team in the nation.
- Manhattan was upgraded to #3 in the USC East Region Poll as well, right behind Creighton and Xavier of the Big East. The Jaspers have been in the top 10 every week since September 4.
- The NCAA released its weekly RPI rankings on Monday, and the Jaspers occupy the 44th spot to pace the MAAC.
Non-Conference Knockout
- The Jaspers went 7-1 in non-conference play, the highest winning percentage for the program since joining the MAAC back in 1991.
- In that span, Manhattan went a perfect 4-0 at home, outscoring opponents by an 8-1 margin.
- Overall, the Jaspers scored 17 goals while conceding just four, leading to an offense that ranks 21st in the nation at 2.13 goals per game and 17th with a 0.625 goals-against average.
- Compared to other MAAC foes, Manhattan was the only squad to register more than four wins and one of two teams (Iona) to hover over .500 on the year.
Awana's Wild Week
- For last Tuesday's heroics, Awana was selected to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week.
- Awana also earned the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week, his first career Player of the Week award and Manhattan's third defensive victory in 2018.

Opening the MAAC

- The last time, these two squads played each other, the Jaspers clipped the Hawks 1-0 in double overtime last season at Gaelic Park. Ryan Shields provided the game-winning goal in the 106th minute to push Manhattan's winning streak to four games at the time.

Scouting Report: Saint Peter's
- The Peacocks are 3-4-1 in 2018, though they are 3-1-1 in their last five games.
- Saint Peter's recently defeated St. Francis Brooklyn 4-1 on September 22.
- Dominic Laws headlines the Peacocks attack and shares the conference lead with Joseph-Buadi and Fourrier in points with nine (four goals, one assist).
- Frederik Lindqvist is the reigning MAAC Offensive Player of the Week following his two-goal, one-assist performance against the Terriers.
- Jason Dubrovich and Robbie Anderson have split time in goal, combining for a 0.682 save percentage, 1.66 GAA and 30 saves.
- Manhattan beat Saint Peter's in the last meeting 2-0 in Jersey City, NJ. Joseph-Buadi reached the back of the net and Tristan Doran had a throw-in that led to a Peacocks own goal. Gohier recorded five saves on the afternoon.
