Tampa, FL - Manhattan track and field's
Ryan Addlesberger (Cinnaminson, NJ / Cinnaminson) threw a personal best of 17.21 meters in the men's shot put at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field East Regional on Saturday, May 26. The junior finished 33rd overall, missing a top 12 slot to qualify for the NCAA national championship, but winning his flight and outdoing his previous personal best by .06 meters.

Brenton Foster (Townsville, Australia / William Ross) earned a 25th-place finish in the men's high jump, hitting a height of 2.06 meters, just .10 meters off the winning jump of 2.16. Like the shot put, the top 12 high jumpers from the east region move on to nationals.Â

Ire Bozovicar (Potoki, Slovenia / Gimazija Jesenice) qualified for the NCAA Championships in the discus throw after finishing 12th in the east region on May 25. His qualifying distance of 53.81 meters came on his first throw in Friday's competition.

Love Litzell (Ostersund, Sweden / Wargentinskolan) and freshmanÂ
Eduard Winner (Tel Aviv, Israel) each earned top 30 performances in their respective field events at the prelims. Litzell competed in the men's hammer throw, hitting a distance of 60.99 meters and finishing in 30th overall. Winner finished 27th overall in the pole vault with a height of 5.00 meters.
The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships begin Wednesday, June 6 at Hayward Field in Eugene, OR. Bozovicar will compete in the men's discus starting at 5:05 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, June 8.Â
