Jaspers Kick-Off ECAC/IC4A Championships

Princeton, NJ - Manhattan senior Love Litzell (Ostersund, Sweden / Wargentinskolan) earned a fourth-place finish in the men's hammer throw at the 2018 ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 12 at Princeton. The three-time IC4A champion in the event, Litzell hit a mark of 63.92 meters, his best performance of the season. 

Junior Lisa Fajardo (Brooklyn, NY / Bishop Kearney) placed sixth in the women's 5,000-meters, finishing in 16:50.15. Fajardo improved on her 2017 ECAC time (17:04.22) in the event by nearly 15 seconds. Teammate Amir Khaghani (Bethesda, MD / Walt Whitman) placed 11th in the men's 5,000-meters, finishing in 14:57.03.

Senior Kelly Gorman (South Amboy, NJ / Cardinal McCarrick) finished 18th in the women's 800-meter race with a time of 2:11.55.

The Jaspers face several more field and running events Sunday, May 13, including the high jump, discus, and 100-meter dash. Fans can follow live results from the ECAC
