With A Win …
Manhattan would eclipse their win total from last season. It would also mark three consecutive wins at home. The last time the Jaspers won three straight at home came in October of 1999, when they defeated Rider, Siena and Philadelphia.

Home Is Where The Heart Is
In two games at Gaelic Park this season, Manhattan has excelled on both sides of the ball. They have not allowed a goal, with Hayes and freshman
Marcellin Gohier combining for six saves in net. On offense, the Jaspers have notched 31 shots against Navy and Sacred Heart so far.

Not only have four different players scored each of Manhattan's four goals this season, but each class is represented in the goal column:

Déjà Vu
This is the second time in a week that a Manhattan team is playing VMI. The women's soccer squad dispatched the Keydets 3-0 at Gaelic Park back on Friday, September 8.

Scouting the Keydets
VMI is searching for their first win in 2017. The Keydets are coming off a scoreless draw against Saint Joseph's last Saturday and a 5-0 loss to MAAC-rival Canisius on September 3. After senior David Wright scored twice in the season opener, the Keydets have yet to find the back of the net. Senior Jon Harrington has drawn all four starts in goal, recording a 2.25 goals-against average.

This is the first meeting between Manhattan and VMI since 2007. The Jaspers are 0-5 all-time against the Keydets, with two losses coming in Riverdale.

Nifty At 50
This season marks the 50th anniversary of the Men's Soccer program. Manhattan will be hosting a special Alumni Day on Saturday, September 30 starting with the annual Alumni Game at 11:00 am. The Jaspers will then host Marist at 2:00 pm before holding a special 50th anniversary dinner at 7:00 pm. ClickÂ
