With A Win ...
The Jaspers would match their win total (2) from last season, with both victories coming at home.

The Last Time ...
That Manhattan won back-to-back home games came in 2015 when the Jaspers defeated Fairfield and Niagara.

Talking Buadi

Freshman Brandon Joseph-Buadi scored his first collegiate goal in Manhattan's loss to Fairleigh Dickinson on Monday. The English native has started both games this season at forward.

Second-Half Success
Joseph-Buadi's score was the ninth goal for the Jaspers in the second half since the start of last season, compared with just two first-half scores during that time.

Here for Help
Junior Lucas da Silva also picked up his first point as a Jasper by assisting on Joseph-Buadi's goal. da Silva collected 41 points in his last year at Palm Beach Atlantic and transferred to Riverdale this past summer.

Greaves Returns
Senior Luke Greaves made his season debut at Fairleigh Dickinson on Monday after missing the opener. Greaves started all 17 matches last year and played this past summer for the Seacoast United Phantoms in the prestigious Premier Development League (PDL). Click HERE for the entire article.

Improved Offense
Manhattan's attack has already made huge strides from a season ago, finding the back of the net in each of the first two matches. In 2016, the Jaspers did not score its second goal until the eighth game of the season. Joseph-Buadi and senior Troy Carrington have notched the two tallies this year.

Hey, Hey, Hayes
Junior Connor Hayes has drawn the first two starts in net for the Jaspers, making five saves during that time. He posted his second career win and shutout in the season-opening victory against Navy.

Scouting Sacred Heart
The Pioneers are 0-2 in 2017, dropping their home opener to NJIT before falling on the road to UMass last Sunday. Sophomore Robert Strain has played in net for each of the two games, making 10 saves while allowing four goals.

Series History
This is the first meeting between Manhattan and Sacred Heart since 2000. That game resulted in a 2-2 draw in Riverdale. This will be just the second matchup between these two teams since 1993.

Looking Ahead
The Jaspers will head to Saint Joseph's on Wednesday, September 6 with opening kick slated for 7:00 pm.
