Lake Buena Vista, FL - Manhattan finished third at the 2017 MAAC Golf Championship with a 918 (+54) after firing a 302 (+14) on the third and final day at the par 72, 6823-yard Disney Magnolia Golf Course.

Senior Connor O'Rourke (Jupiter, FL / FAU) recorded a 76 (+4) on the afternoon en route to earning All-MAAC honors for the third-day event with his eighth place finish (226, +10).

Juniors Johnny Schob (Old Tappan, NJ / Don Bosco Prep) and Charles Seward (Tampa, FL / Freedom) each recorded a team-best 75 (+3) on the day in posting matching marks of 230 (+14), finishing in a tie for 13th at the championship. 

Matching O'Rourke on the day was freshman Preston Shortell (Oxford, CT / Holy Cross), who carded a 76 (+4) in placing 17th with a score of 232 (+16).

Saint Peter's led all nine MAAC members with a 295 (+7) in round three to capture the 2017 MAAC Championship with a mark of 910 (+46).
 
Siena took second (913), followed by Manhattan (918), Rider (920), Monmouth (920), Iona (931), Fairfield (934), Canisius (936) and Niagara (941). 

Saint Peter's Mike Winter led all players on the third day with a 71 (-1) en route to winning the 2017 MAAC Individual Championship with a score of 220 (+4).

At the MAAC Championship banquet, Seward was named to the 2017 MAAC All-Academic Team.
